Adult Studies Every Sunday @ 9:15 am
“Self-care is never a selfish act - it is simply good stewardship of the only gift I have, the gift I was put on earth to offer others.” --Parker J. Palmer
Earth and Stars Sunday Discussion Group
This group meets in the GREAT Room conference room each Sunday at 9:15 am. All are invited for some "big talk" (as opposed to just "small talk") about how each of us can grow and guide others in the Love of God and community through meaningful, intentional relationships and personal development. Childcare is always available downstairs and refreshments are
provided. Questions? Contact Jeremy Grossman, Discipleship Ministries.
Lamplighters Adult Study
This group meets in the friendship room in the church basement and is led by Rev. Bobbi Tobin from Oct. to mid-November. The first two weeks will feature the movie "Mr. ROGERS," an inspirational biography of the program and his life. As a Presbyterian minister he devoted himself to individual children as well as groups of children while emphasizing social issues. The next four weeks will be a study of Dr. Adam Hamilton's "Half Truths," which sets forth common phrases that sound Christian but they miss the point in important ways. Some important Christian sayings will be compared with the wisdom found in Scripture. . Dave Schmidt will resume leading the group mid-November. All are welcome.

Research reveals that relationships matter more than any other factor in church growth. Scripture reveals that being a follower of Jesus is about building relationships with Jesus and one another. Small groups offer the opportunity to do this. Groups form regularly. Are you interested in small groups? Let us know!
