Adult Studies Every Sunday @ 9:15 am
“Self-care is never a selfish act - it is simply good stewardship of the only gift I have, the gift I was put on earth to offer others.” --Parker J. Palmer
Seasonal Sunday Morning Study
As to all things there are seasons. Discipleship is a lifestyle. To give our best to God and our neighbors, we must be our best selves. Truly BECOMING You is a process of reflection, letting go of old hurts and habits, and actively seeking new paths, practices and patterns. With that in mind, the Sunday Morning Conference Room Discussion Group will be focusing on stages of self-care and growth in spiritual disciplines during the four quarters of the upcoming year, each coinciding with the seasons. While you do not need to attend every stage to participate, making a commitment to the growth process is encouraged. Refreshments will be served and childcare is provided. Please to plan to join us Sunday mornings at 9:15!
The first seasonal study is AUTUMN -- THINGS FALL AWAY: September 16- October 14
Lamplighters Adult Study
The Lamplighters class meets at 9:15 Sundays in the Friendship Room of the church and is led by Dave Schmidt. They are discussing ethical issues in today’s changing bio-technical world. All are welcome!
Research reveals that relationships matter more than any other factor in church growth. Scripture reveals that being a follower of Jesus is about building relationships with Jesus and one another. Small groups offer the opportunity to do this. Groups form regularly. Are you interested in small groups? Let us know!
Trinity Small Groups
1st and 3rd Mondays Ladies’ Group
Ladies, ever imagine God’s presence with you as you brush your teeth, look for lost keys, make the bed, or check your email? The women’s small group resumes Monday, Sept. 17 at 7 p.m. in the church parlor discussion room. All women are invited to attend and learn how God is present in our daily routines and habits. Liturgy of the Ordinary by Tish Harrison Warren will be the focus of this study led by Melissa Kramer and Kay Franscoviak. The group will meet the first and third Mondays through the fall months.
3rd Mondays Men’s Group
The men’s small group will be studying Milton: Epic Evil. Terry Stamper leads this group, which meets on the third Mondays at 7 pm in the Friendship Room.

Young Adult Dinner and Discussion
Beginning Sunday, Sept. 9, at 6 pm, the young adults will meet each second Sunday of the month for dinner and discussion of the book "Simpler Living, Compassionate Life" which matches Trinity’s focus on sharing our stories with one another and speaking from the experience of our lives as well as a need to center ourselves and set healthy lifestyle priorities. Pastor Tracey can email chapters of the book. As always, if you don't have time to read the book, join us anyway. On the 9th, we’ll meet in the Friendship Room. Check out the Young Adults Facebook Page for more information!
