Habitat for Humanity
Seeking to put God's love into action, Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities, and hope.
Habitat's mission is to create a world where everyone has a decent place to live. Habitat for Humanity has choses, as our means of manifesting God's love, to create opportunities for all people to live in decent, durable shelter. Habitat puts faith into action by helping to build, renovate or preserve homes, and by partnering with others to accelerate and broaden access to affordable housing for those in need. Habitat accomplishes this through donations of manpower and funds to build quality, affordable homes which are sold to partner families through a no-profit, zero interest loan.

Did you know that it costs about $55,000 to build a Habitat House?
This summer we will be joining other Lafayette area churches for a Habitat build. The cost of building a Habitat House is being divided proportionally among the participating churches and Trinity's share is $2,736.00.
We will need lots of volunteers, and there is a job for every ability.
Begin praying for this build. Pray for sufficient volunteers and for the safety of those volunteers. Pray that the needed funds will be raised. Pray that the recipients of the house will be blessed by the spirit in which the house was built.
To donate toward the Habitat build, you can place a check in the collection plate with "Habitat" on the memo line, or come and make a donation at the Fat Tuesday Pancake Supper on February 17 from 5:30 to 7:30 pm.
