Effective February 1, Pastor Amber Traeger became responsible for visitation of Trinity’s members who are homebound and in care or rehab facilities, as well as the recruitment and training of our Friendly Visitors.
Pastor Amber became a ministry candidate in October, 2018. Following candidacy approval, she completed License to Preach School. Summer, 2019, Amber was appointed by the conference (¼ time) as Trinity’s Associate Pastor. With her additional visitation duties, her hours have increased to 15/week. Her primary duties include oversight of Living Stones Historic Preservation and the Caring Fund, preaching and liturgy approximately once per month, as well as her new role with visitation.
Amber and her husband, Ryan (who pastors Brown Street UMC) have two daughters, Magnolia (age 5) and Genevieve (age 3). Pastor Amber is a Lafayette native.
