Community Garden Volunteer Position
In 2016, Trinity began one of our most important outreach ministries: our Community Garden. Our garden is part of a local community network, Grow Local, whose vision is to build, nourish, and nurture community through establishing and growing urban gardens. For four years, Mel Shoaf and his wife, Janet, took the lead in organizing Trinity’s garden. In December, 2020, Mel stepped down from this role.
If you have some knowledge of gardening, have a passion for feeding the hungry, and enjoy connecting church and community, this volunteer (unpaid) staff position is the perfect opportunity for you! If you are interested or have questions, contact Pastor Tracey Leslie at tracey@trinitylafayette.org
