Prayer for Week 3, by Pastor Janelle Ohlemiller

Almighty God, You sent your Son to us, truly God and truly human, that we might come to know You through His work, His words, and His presence. Through Jesus Christ, we are invited to witness Your power, to glimpse Your vision, and to follow where You lead. Open our eyes to see Your glory, and open our mouths, and our hands, that we may extend Christ’s invitation to all. We trust You to convince everyone, as You have convinced us, that the healing and hope You offer us is true, and real, and awe-inspiring. We trust You with our neighbors’ hearts as we trust you with our own. We ask You to send us out, like servants gathering guests for a banquet, like shepherds seeking lost sheep, like a woman running from a well, bursting to tell everyone she knows about the Living Water. Send us, Lord, as Your witnesses, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
