In my twenty years at Trinity, I have heard pastors who in their own personal styles have presented the Scriptures and explained how I can live my life according to the Scriptures. Trinity has always been a caring and sharing ... ...congregation who have embraced me in trying moments and shared my joy in happy moments. Many members have been role models of Christianity for me. Thank you, Mary, Jane, Betty,Peggy, and Norma. With others I have forged strong friendships. Discussion groups have regularly reinforced my faith and helped it grow. Most of all, I came to Trinity searching for a way to serve others. I found lots of ways here—Christmas jubilee, Sunday meals for the homeless, Habitat building, the food pantry, the spring senior luncheon, nursing care for community babies, back-to-school bash, singing Christmas carols to Trinity shut-ins and in downtown Lafayette, actually interacting with the Children’s Home in Lebanon, garden and grill meals. Fusion, and crocheting prayer shawls. Trinity has led me in my growth as a disciple of Christ, and God isn’t done with any of us. We are all a work in progress. I want Trinity and its people to join me in disciple growth—a growth that will lead all of us out to be better disciples. Please support Trinity with your financial gifts so that we ALL can make a difference in our homes, our community and our world by being better disciples in serving others.
