Creative Jam was an amazing day in which children from Trinity, First Church and the community came together for a day of creative fun and learning. The children created a masterpiece reflecting the story of Noah with artist Jerilyn Hufford & her helpers Shelby & Leanne Gray; played instruments while singing praise songs and dancing in the street with Lisa Drake & Jeff Goodspeed; learned about the story of Noah and the promises that God made through that story with storyteller, Kay Franscoviak; created tasty creative snacks including rainbow fruit salad, rice krispy treat paint brushes & God’s creatures made with cheese sticks & snack items under the instruction of Kristy Evans and Savannah Jewell. Thank you to Kathy Manwaring who helped set up, and to Susie Riley and Jan Hardesty who helped with registration. Families and church members then joined together for dinner, and attended a wonderful Michael Kelsey concert! It was a God filled day, and the children said it was the best!
Thank you so much to everyone who invited children, donated funds, volunteered their time and attended the concert.
