Get Involved in 2018!

As you contemplate your talents, stills, and spiritual gifts, think about how you will contribute them to Trinity in the new year. There are lots of ways to get involved, from volunteering to do odd jobs around the church with our maintenance team to brewing coffee on Sunday mornings. 

New Ministry Teams in 2017

• Coffee Cart Team: These individuals brew coffee and welcome visitors and church members on Sunday mornings with a cup of coffee. 
• Family to Family/Caring Fund Team: These individuals build relationships with families from our partnership with LUM as well as individuals seeking assistance from the church. They eat together once a month, pray together, offer assistance with resources and support, and check in by phone and in person.
  
• Garden Volunteers: Weed and water our community garden during spring, summer, and fall months. 
  
• Meal Team: Assist with preparing and serving food as well as setting up and cleaning up dinner for our monthly community dinners and Garden and Grill meals. 
  

Other Ministry Teams

• Bus Ministry: Drive oru Trinity bus picking up those who request transportation.
• Counters: Count our Sunday offering.
• Family Promise Volunteers: Host families four weeks each year.
• Lawn Care: Take turns over the summer months mowing the lawn and caring for flower beds.
• Office Volunteers: Assist with bulk mailings and other office tasks.
• Sound Crew: Run the sound board for worship.
• Sunday Morning Building Team: This is a group of gentlemen who take turns opening and locking the church building each Sunday.
• Telephone Prayer Team: These individuals receive a list of prayer concerns from Pastor Tracey each week. They then telephone a church member and pray with them, by phone, for our church - its members and its ministries.
• Ushers: Welcome Sunday morning worshipers, pass out bulletins, and collect the morning offering.
• Visitation Team: These individuals visit with our shut-in members.
• Welcoming Team: These individuals serve as "greeters" for our Sunday worship. They place a special emphasis on welcoming and connecting with our worship guests.
