Meet Professor Fanuel Tagwira - Jan. 16 @ 6 pm

Join Trinity for African Night on January 16 @ 6 pm in the Fellowship Hall and meet Africa University former Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Fanuel Tagwira.

Fanuel Tagwira is currently a visiting professor at Purdue University.  The former Vice-Chancellor of Africa University has been a pioneer faculty member and expert in soil chemistry.  He joined AU to help launch the Faculty of Agriculture and Natural Resources in 1992 and was unanimously elected Vice-Chancellor in 2008.  Professor Fanuel Tagwira said that Africa University is "training a new leadership for Africa and that would not have happened without the contributions of the United Methodist Church annual conferences, districts and individuals. It is the ordinary people, like you and me who have contributed to Africa University and it is these types of contributions that go on to make a difference."
