Oranges have long been considered a special treat at Christmastime. Years ago when oranges were costly and scarce during the winter, they were a highly appreciated delicacy. Santa often left these sweet fruits in the toe of a child’s Christmas stocking as a simple but much-treasured gift. The Christmas Orange reminds us that a simple gift, chosen with Care and given in Love, is the greatest gift any of us can give. From December 2 – 30, the Earth & Stars Discussion group will focus on the topic of giving Love in the simplest ways during the holiday season. The group meets Sunday mornings at 9:15 AM in the Great Room conference room. Refreshments are provided and child care is always available. Everyone is welcome to join! Thank you for giving me a new lesson in life worth pondering of! Regardless if the gift is affordable or high end, what we should do is be thankful and look at the importance of what we had receive. Most of the people nowadays keep on complaining if they didn't get the gift they were expecting. Instead of doing that, what we should do and feel is be thankful. Not everyone receives a gift this Christmas season, and that is enough reason for you to be grateful!
